By Amir M. · The Operator Brief · The actual skills that run Humblytics' marketing — and the GitHub repo so you can install them today.
TL;DR
Six Claude skills run my company's marketing as a chain: marketing-strategist → content-strategist → copywriting → ad-expert → revenue-attributor → cro-optimizer. Then it loops.
A skill is a folder plus a
SKILL.md— a named set of instructions your AI assistant loads on demand. Install once, call by name, same output every time. The whole thing is open source. The Humblytics Marketing Skills pack is 12 skills, MIT-licensed, on GitHub — works in Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Cline.
Five of them connect to live analytics data — your real funnel, heatmaps, ad spend, revenue. That's the difference between a skill that writes about marketing and one that reads what actually happened.
Most people use AI for marketing one prompt at a time. Open a chat, paste a clever prompt, get one output, start over tomorrow — re-explaining your brand and your numbers every single session. It doesn't compound.
There's a better unit than the prompt: the skill. A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md inside — a named, reusable set of instructions your assistant loads automatically when the job shows up. Write it once, it already knows your brand, and you call it by name forever.
I run a stack of them. Together they do the work of a marketing team — and I've open-sourced the whole pack so you can install it today. Skip to the bottom for the install, or read on for how the chain actually runs.
What a skill actually is (vs a prompt, vs MCP)
Three tools people mix up:
Prompt — one-off text you retype each time. Good for a thought you have once. Breaks the moment you need it weekly.
Skill — a named folder plus
SKILL.md, loaded on demand and auto-triggered. Your repeatable playbook. The process and your brand context are baked in.Live data (API) — a connection to facts that change: your real funnel, today's ad spend, this week's revenue. A skill runs the process; the API feeds it the numbers.
That last point is the whole game for marketing. A skill that only knows how to write is a shortcut. A skill that can read your actual analytics and tell you what to fix is leverage.
The 6-skill chain that runs my marketing
This is the spine. Each skill owns one job and hands the next one exactly what it needs.
marketing-strategist sets the positioning, GTM, and the angle.
content-strategist turns it into a content calendar.
copywriting writes the landing pages, emails, and ads.
ad-expert turns those into paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
revenue-attributor connects the ad spend to Stripe revenue and ranks ROAS.
cro-optimizer reads the result against live analytics and fixes the leak.
Then it loops back to the strategist with what the data said. No re-briefing between steps. The output of one is the clean input to the next, because they share the same field names.
That's the part people miss. A single skill is a shortcut. Skills that chain are a company.
The full pack: 12 skills, open source
The six above are the chain I lead with. The full Humblytics Marketing Skills repo ships twelve, in two groups.
Live-data skills (read your real Humblytics analytics):
cro-optimizer — conversion optimization on live funnel data
ab-test-generator — generate and launch A/B tests from analytics + heatmaps
heatmap-analyst — click, scroll, and rage-click analysis with UX fixes
revenue-attributor — Meta/Google spend → Stripe revenue, ROAS rankings
funnel-reporter — end-to-end SaaS funnel reporting
Marketing & content skills (run on instructions, no API needed):
marketing-strategist — funnels, GTM, positioning, growth
content-strategist — articles, newsletters, social, video, SEO
copywriting — conversion copy for pages, emails, ads
ad-expert — paid across every major platform
seo-strategist — keyword research, content gaps, technical SEO
page-cro — page-level conversion audits
email-sequences — onboarding, nurture, re-engagement, abandoned-cart drips
The seven content/marketing skills work on day one. The five live-data skills connect to the Humblytics API so they read your real numbers instead of guessing.
Install it (free, MIT, 5 minutes)
The repo follows the open Agent Skills spec, so it works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, and anything else that supports it.
Claude Code — clone the repo as a skill source:
git clone https://github.com/Humblytics/humblytics-marketing-skills.gitOr reference the skills directly in your project's AGENTS.md.
Cursor / Windsurf / others — copy the SKILL.md files you want into your project's .cursor/skills/ (or equivalent), or point your assistant at the repo.
To switch on the live-data skills (cro-optimizer, revenue-attributor, and the rest):
Grab your API key + Property ID from app.humblytics.com → Settings → API.
cp .env.example .envand fill inHUMBLYTICS_API_KEY.source .envbefore you run the agent.
One security rule, non-negotiable: keep the key in .env (gitignored). Never paste an API key into the agent chat and never put it in CLAUDE.md or .cursorrules — those get committed, and a leaked key is a leaked key.
The model is becoming a commodity. The operators who win aren't the ones with the cleverest prompt — they're the ones who turned their repeated work into named skills that read their real data and hand off to each other.
That's the whole pack. Install it, point it at your numbers, and let it run.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be technical to use these?
No. A skill is a folder and a markdown file. Cloning the repo is one command, and the content skills work immediately. The only setup that touches config is wiring an API key for the live-data skills — and that's a copy-paste .env step.
What makes the live-data skills different from ChatGPT marketing prompts?
They read your actual analytics. cro-optimizer looks at your real funnel, heatmap-analyst at your real rage-clicks, revenue-attributor at your real ad-spend-to-Stripe path. A prompt guesses from best practices; these skills tell you what your data says to fix.
Which assistants does the pack work with?
Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, and anything that supports the Agent Skills spec. The seven content/marketing skills are assistant-agnostic; the five live-data skills need the Humblytics API key.
How do the six skills "hand off" to each other?
They share field names, so one skill's output is the next one's clean input — positioning → calendar → copy → campaigns → attribution → CRO, then back to strategy. You're the operator making the calls; the skills do the repeatable production without re-briefing.
Is it really free?
Yes — MIT licensed, the whole repo. The live-data skills need a Humblytics account to read your analytics, but the skill pack itself costs nothing to install and use.
Where do I start?
Clone the repo, try copywriting or marketing-strategist first (no setup), then wire the API key when you're ready to let cro-optimizer and revenue-attributor read your real numbers.
